    1.Causes of turning and twisting during punching
 
  In the progressive die, the shape of the punched part is formed by punching the remaining material around the punched part. The main reason for blanking and distortion of punching parts is the influence of punching force. During punching, due to the existence of the punching gap, the material is stretched on one side of the die (the material warps upward) and compressed on the side of the punch. When using a discharge plate, use the discharge plate to compress the material to prevent the material on the die side from warping upward. At this time, the stress condition of the material changes accordingly. As the pressing force of the discharge plate increases, the material on the side of the die is stretched (the compressive force tends to decrease), while the material on the die side is compressed (the tensile force tends to decrease).   2.Methods to suppress stamping parts from turning and twisting
 
  (1). Reasonable mold design. In the progressive die, the arrangement of the blanking order may affect the precision of stamping parts forming. For the blanking of small parts of stamping parts, generally, a larger area of ​​punching blanking is arranged first, and then a smaller area of ​​punching blanking is arranged to reduce the impact of the punching force on the forming of the stamping part.
 
  (2). Squeeze the material. Overcome the traditional mold design structure, open the material holding gap on the discharge plate (that is, when the mold is closed, the discharge plate and the die fit, and the gap between the discharge plate and the die where the material is stored is the material thickness t-0.03 ~ 0.05mm). In this way, the unloading plate moves smoothly during stamping, and the material can be compacted.   3. Handling of common specific problems in production
 
  In daily production, you may encounter situations where the punching size is too large or too small (which may exceed the specifications) and the size of the punch is significantly different. In addition to considering the design dimensions, processing accuracy and punching of the forming punch and die In addition to factors such as clearance, the following aspects should be considered to solve.
 
  (1). When the cutting edge is worn, the tensile stress of the material increases, and the tendency of turning and distortion of the stamping part increases. When turning material, the punching size will become smaller.
 
  (2). The strong pressure on the material will cause plastic deformation of the material, which will cause the punching size to become larger. When reducing the pressure, the punching size will become smaller.
 
  (3). End edge shape of punch. If the end is trimmed with an inclined surface or an arc, the punching force will not be easily turned and twisted due to the slowing of the punching force, so the punching size will become larger. When the end of the punch is flat (no bevel or arc), the punching size will be relatively small.
